Dear Folks, I am a distant relative - (first cousin three times removed to be precise!) of Thomas Andrews keen Cricketer and Shipbuilder and I have very much enjoyed your site this morning learning about my distant cousin. I am sure 15th April 2012 the 100th Anniversary of his tragic loss along with many other unfortunate souls will generate a lot of interest in NDCC.I hear you have a photo in NDCC HQ of an Andrews 11 team sitting on the steps of NDCC at a match around 1890 -do you have a link on your website please as I cannot locate that picture.I live in Ormskirk, Lancashire and work as a GP but I am neither a Cricketer myself -nor even a Shipbuilder. If you were to create a centenary memorial trust fund or similar - for any Cricket related charitable work in Comber -perhaps amongst young people -please do let me know as I would be interested to contribute and especially if it was gift aided. 3rd and final LMS of the season commencing 4th February 2012. Entry forms being drawn up this week and will be in clubhouse. 106 total in last one lets make one final push as an excellent fundraiser for club and the eventual winner!!!
