 CLUB MARK OF NORTHERN IRELAND
Monday 1 February 2010 BEHIND THE SCENES
An important meeting was held at the club on Monday 1st February when Mark Garaway, Head of Cricket Operations, Cricket Ireland; Tim Simmonite, Club Development Manager Cricket Ireland; Stephen Moreton, Coach Educational Officer Cricket Ireland and Simon Toole of Sport Northern Irerland met with North Down Officials.
Tremendous work has been done by Club Development Officer Ryan Haire and within the NDCC cricket committee there has been great support for the progress towards a Club Mark NI. Representing the club today were Chairman Ian Carser, Ryan Haire NDCC Development Officer, Taimur Khan NDCC Coaching Staff and Peter Shields, Club Captain.
All aspects of club development are required to reach standards in order to achieve the accolade and today's meeting was a significant step in the right direction.
