BURNS MOM (unofficial) WITH 44 NOT OUT AND 2 FOR 8

The North Down 6s team got off to a winning start in their defence at Shankill Leisure Centre on Sunday against Muckamore.The side, captained again by Neil Russell, batted first and posted 111 for 3 in the allotted 8 overs. The main innings were 44 not out by Nathan Burns and 34 not out from Kieran Donnelly.In reply, the pick of the bowlers were David Kennedy (2 for 5) and Nathan Burns (2 for 8). A wicket apiece for Leon Moore and Daniel Graham had Muckamore dismissed for 50 off 4.3 overs.Next match is against Saintfield on 29^th January at 4.00pm
