North Down battted first on a cold and bright day at The Green and openers Jo Montgomery and Daniel Graham spent enough time at the wicket to establish a 30 run partnership before Montgomery was bowled by Blain. Top scorer for the home side was Michael Turkington with an unbeaten 46. Andrew Sutherland hit 39 and Daniel Graham 22 in a 156 total. Cliftonville scored 115 with Peter Connell taking a couple of wickets and the others shared around.
