 'BURNED' AT THE GREEN
Monday 29 June 2009 ULSTER CUP SEMI FOR THE TITANS
Lisburn were unceremoniously dumped out of the Club Turf Ulster Cup by a back to form North Down.
The Lisburn side have had a dream start to the season with only one league defeat and still in contention in the Bob Kerr Irish Senior Cup. Today in Comber they performed very poorly and on this showing will not frinish in the upper reaches of the Premier League.
They totalled 83 on a good wicket in perfect batting conditions - a total that was eclipsed by the North Down openers in 12 overs.
