Montgomery Jonathan 2006
Jo has skippered the 2nd XI this season to success after success and to date (1st Aug) has seen his side suffer only one league defeat and play Drumaness in the final of the Junior Cup at the weekend. He scores runs at will, bowls when needed and marshals the troops with all the experience that a former Senior Cup winning captain has.
Jo captained the 1st XI in 1999 and guided the side to the first Senior League win since 1936 and followed that up in 2000 by captaining the side that defeated Woodvale in the Senior Challenge Cup.

Sometimes overshadowed by the higher profile batsmen around him, he nevertheless continues to make an important contribution at the top of the batting order.
