Haire Andrew

Andrew Haire showed how useful an all-rounder he can be with his contribution with bat and ball in the Cup Final.   His first innings 8 overs for 28 was economical and the wicket of the dangerous Dyer was a big plus.  His second innings spell of 5 overs for 24 runs served a cause but it was his 18 undefeated runs in the second innings that were particularly useful.  He shared a vital 26 run partnership with Ian Cleland and one could say it gave North Down the necessary runs to play with. 

Andrew joined Civil Service North at the beginning of the 2005 season and made a good start, batting high up the order and taking wickets.

His return to North Down should add further depth to a strong squad
