Iain Arthur

Arthur Iain

Iain still plays a vital role on the 2nd XI bringing years of experience to a side playing in demanding times.

Iain is a major wicket taker on the 2nds and itis hoped that he can pick up a few in the Junior Cup final.  He has also shown that he is no mug with the bat with his fifty against Bangor at The Green.

Iain Arthur is one of the most promising medium pace bowlers in the club.  He has the gift of consistency and tends to bowl with a good line and length. With 50 wickets for the seconds and thirds in the last 2 seasons, Iain has a lot of potential. Let's not brand him as a bowler only as he looks as though his batting has some potential too. Went to Arundel with the Belfast Taverners team last season, and an NCU U-15 Inter-Pro in 2005. Part of the North Down Colts Cup and Seconds League winning teams.
