Ian Carser
![]() |
Carser Ian2006 One of the few noted former 1st XI players to sample cricket in the lower leagues, Ian has had a good season and will be expected to show his class and guile in the Junior Cup final in August. A former winning Irish Cup captain, he knows the game inside out and will be a great stabilising influence. Ian Carser has over the last decade and more played a significant role in making our Club the envy of others. He has led on the field and off it. As Chairman he guides a sometimes vociferous Committee as they make decisions for the benefit of all. As a player he led the 1st XI to an Irish Cup victory and a share of the spoils in the 1994 Senior Challenge Cup. Like most he has suffered the defeats that at the end of the day make winning all the sweeter.
